Trying to build new tank .. Please Help !!

Trying to build 150g tank to avoid high cost of buying one from store. Can someone point me in right direction of starting point.

Agreed I got a 55 with stand and all I needed plus extras for like 150.00

Literally build it or buy it? If you're looking to buy it, I'd also say craigslist. If youre looking to build one, look into plywood aquariums. Generally you save more if building a larger tank but a 150 could easily be done.

The glass gets prohibitively expensive when you get into large sheets. If you're only looking at 150g, keep a close eye on Craigslist. My brother picked up a 250g for a little over $200.
