trying to make a stand and hood

Hello I have a 55g and I am wanting to make a stand and a hood for it I am making it in to a reef tank so need something any ideas thank you

I'm currently in the process of building my own stand for a 55 gal tank. I'm over building mine a bit since I plan to upgrade to a 150 gal in the next year or three.
