Aquariumsdirect.com?

I am new to this hobby and getting ready to order my first tank, but I have some questions about some online retailers and shipping prices. Has anyone ordered from AquariumsDirect ? I am getting a Clear for Life 75g and the prices are comparable between Aquariums Direct and MarineDepot , however, the shipping from AD is $10 while the shipping from MD is $354. It just makes me wonder if it's too good to be true or if I should jump on it. I still have to order the accessories from MD as AD's selection is pretty poor, but if I have to split the order to save $344, then so be it.

Sorry for the rambling first post, I really just want to know if Aquariums Direct is reputable or not.

Welcome to the site!
I haven't ordered a tank online, so I can't help you there, BUT is did order from marinedepotlive and was very unhappy. I have heard good things about their dry good store (marinedepot).

Thanks for the welcome! I ended up ordering The Clear for Life 75 and an Eheim 2078 from Pet Store dot com
We shall see how the service turns out. They have good ratings with BizRate and BBB Online.

Where are you located? Aren't there any pet stores near you? Or is this tank acrylic and that is why you want to order online?

The tank is Acrylic. As for local shops, the only shop other than PetsMart (which I'm not very fond of) acts as if I'm a nuicance everytime I've been in there. I would sooner give my money to an online vendor with decent service than a local with crap for service.
