Drilling a hole in your tank

I want to drill 2 holes in the back of my aquarium to change my filter bed setup and location. However I did not know if my tank had tempered glass or not. Tempered glass can not be drilled...it WILL shater. I did some research with All-Glass aquariums and finally got in touch with Crystal Elsesser who works for them. Here is a copy of her answer to my question.

If you are wanting to drill the back panel of glass on this tank it can be done. We make all of our tanks with non tempered glass on all of the sides. Only some of our tanks have tempered bottoms.

Sincerely,

Crystal
