Fish Town USA

If you live in NYC, FISHTOWN-USA.com.... my pap, my best friend and me bought our tanks there.. Dirt cheap. i payed 230 for a 125gallon with stand, and if you by the tank and stand they take i think 25% off the light strip and glass top... there livestock is also rediculously cheap. Although you will see other stuff is over priced but as far as tanks and livestock this is the spot.

Aquarium adventures... I am sorry but i gotta post. This place is great to go and just stare at there tanks but there prices are unheard of. People that worked there have said the same to me. I have only bought one thing from there and that was because it was half off on all fish and i got my PIM catfish there for a decent price, althought the guy didnt want to sell it to me.

Pet solutions.... Me and my pap have had some issues with this company. First we spent alot of money on our first order there and werent to happy with the service to start. Then my pap received his wet/dry from them and it came cracked in 7 different spots.. He called and was told by the person on the phone that they would send a return slip and he would send it back. Then they had called to tell us that they wouldnt take it back and they we would need to contact the manufacturer for a refund. My father argued with them saying that he was told a packing slip would be in the mail and that it would be exchanged, they didnt want to budge after a long arguement my father told them he wanted a refund. They give up. We found out from the manufacturer that they were doing something at there warehouse because the wet/dry came in two boxes, whereas the maufacturer only uses one to send the filter system. We bought the same filter from Foster and Smith and received the shipment in one box. In total, i would not recommend pet solutions to anyone, from there shoddy business practices, to there poor customer loyalty and service..
