question about a retailer - Aquarium Advice

Has anyone actually purchased from this website?

their prices are so good it makes me suspect something. A deal to good to be true?

I have not purchased from this website but I did send two emails asking about a product and they were not answered.

Also, their security certificate expired three days ago. Use an American Express so you can get your money back.

I bought a light from them. It died in 24 hours. After 3 weeks of emails and phones calls (they generally do not respond), then sent me a new ballast. The ballast is/was soldered in place so it had to be unsoldered and the new soldered in. That did not correct the problem. I was now past my 30 days for a refund, which I had asked for originally but was denied.

I will never do business with them again. Their products are generally very cheap Chinese productions. In 20 years they may be of world class design. For now your money is better spent elsewhere.

Of course there are others who received a working product and have not had a problem with it. In that case you got a bargain!
