I am very new to aquariums but thought it might be useful to share some experiences with online suppliers. Here is one from me:

I have used AZ Aquatic twice.

First some plants and snails, they called the snails nerites but they were brigs. I accidentally gave a wrong address and emailed about it, they sent to the new address which was great but the order was missing some small items and the snails were in fairly rough shell condition but lively enough. But overall it was okay.

I ordered again and this time they mistyped my address on the fedex label (I checked that I had it right this time). Given that they ship overnight on Thurday this meant extended discussion with Fedex to redeliver that same day which I finally managed. I had asked for the missing items to be sent in this order but this request was ignored. The shrimp arrived and looked okay, 1 of 6 DOA and there is one that I am not 100% convinced with grow up to be a cherry but I may be wrong.

I will probably not order there again. They seem a bit vague on what is what with inverts and never reply to emails (not once). Their stuff is okay but a bit hit and miss and packaging is okay but they don't label the boxes 'live' or 'perishable'.

I would give them 5/10--worth a try of there are no other sources.
