STARFYRE has fishy dreams
That Fish Place

I wanted to give kudos to one of my favorite fish stores
THAT FISH PLACE/THAT PET PLACE
You can get to them online at www.thatpetplace.com
I have bought more than half of my equipment for 1 SW and 8 FW tanks from there. It's about a half hour drive from where I live and it's completely worth it! Compared to the prices at the LFS s and chain stores like Petco, Petsmart etc....It's at least 25% cheaper.
I have bought one tank, 2 FW hoods, a lighting system for my SW, a DI machine and all the cartidges for it, air pumps, filters, filter cartridges, airstones, skimmer, heaters, sand, driftwood, fake FW plants, live FW plants, test kits, stress coat, melafix, pimafix, air lines, and probably some other stuff too.
As far as livestock, I have an assortment from all my LFS s and some from there. I did buy my Discus from there about 9 months ago, and they are in great health. I also bought some rare fancy plecos, which for the most part have been hardy, and I am extremely pleased with their selection. I tend to go with who's fish and tanks look the healthiest, so I really don't have a preference of where I buy livestock, as long as everything in the store looks good (i.e. no ick in ANY of the tanks, fins healthy, active, no open wounds, tanks clean and clear....)
As far as equipment goes, 99% of the time I will take the drive down there to get it. Will I continue to shop there? Most Def!
The main problem I encounter there is that the prices don't always ring up correctly, so I always check my reciept before I leave. If there's a mistake, they give me no hassles and correct it immediately.
On the 1-5 scale mentioned in the sticky....Definately a 5.
