Hi i am looking for a predator fish but the thing is I only have a 20 gallon tank. I would like something that eats feeder fish as well.(Also not puffers)Thank you so much for your time.

Not much room in a 20g. I guess it depends on what you call predator fish. You could get by with a pair of convicts, but barely. A single senegal bichir would probably be ok. They eat small fish when they get large enough.

I'm just going to throw it out there but is there anything like a small leaf fish species you could get? Never kept them though so not sure how possible it would be?

If this is a silly idea can someone post as been toying with the idea myself.

From what I know of leaf fish (which is basically nothing), smaller species would be ok in a 20g. Not sure how predatory they are though. I was told at a LFS that they require very soft, acidic water. I was thinking about a couple myself, as they're super cool, but my water is way too hard and base.
