She could have possibly been confused. Our lfs sells tablets that are used for transporting fish for long durations. They also fill your fish bags with oxygen if you are going to be transporting for long distances. When we moved and knew that it was going to be a good 5 to 6 hours before the fish would be able to be put in a different container, we stopped by the lfs to pick up a bottle of dechlor and they used their air pump to fill the remaining portion of the fish bags with oxygen.

Speaking of dumb questions (although i can see it could be feesible) when i managed a hobby store in a mall we had a lady come in looking for fish food. ok yeah it's a hobby but wouldnt you think to go to a pet store maybe. Then there was the guy who came in looking for razors which yeah we had so i show him the razors for xacto knives and he says no i need the kind for shaving with. uhhhhh how bout you try the big CVS store downstairs. And there's the person who came in asking for facial tissues. Again BIG RED LETTERS C V S right downstairs.
The more i worked in retail the more disappointed i got in the human race.

Another anecdote: I used to work at a bank as a teller. One day a woman came through, asking why her account was overdrawn. I answered that unless a system error has occurred, it's the result of spending more money than is present in your account. She asks, "So, I'm out of money?" I say, "It looks like you were about four days ago."

"But I still have checks left."
