Looks like san diego has some pretty decent deals though. I figured things would be sky high in a big city like that

Ya its not bad. It's kind of funny, the 125g actually sounds reasonable at this point. 2 years ago that would have sounded crazy to me.

I paid that for my 125... it did come with some cheapo ebay canister though... and an old kitchen cabinet retro'd in to a tank stand haha.

Hah I've been thinking about buying some cheap cabinet and doing that myself but I was worried it wouldn't hold the weight. Maybe I could reinforce one or something.... idk.

And ya I think san diego is only expensive in the housing industry. Haven't lived anywhere else though so I could be wrong. One bedrooms usually average around $800-900 a month here. That sound high? Just curious.

most definitely. around here, you can get a 2-3 bedroom townhouse (1500-1800 square feet or so) for less than that
