Advice for fiance's birthday present..

any ideas? i'm so lost. She's 28 today, I was thinking of a nice necklace or set of gold earings with a blue saphire(her birth stone) and I have a fair idea of what style she likes, but i'm afraid to get something that won't go with any of her outfits..

Any other ideas?

cheers,

Matty

How long have you been seeing each other? If it's been a while and you have settled into a routine, take her out on a date like in the beginning. For our two-year last week I hired a horse-drawn carriage to take my wife and I through downtown. You would have thought I gave her the world on a silver platter. Chicks love that stuff. Good Luck! You'll need it

Day @ the spa. Fingers, toes, face, body, and hair. Do that earlier. Ensure a 2-4 hr nap, then dinner and romance.

They should have the gift certificate to put in one of the 2 or 3 cards. One funny, another serious, and the other (if you choose ) PG-13 rated.

Edited: Birthday TODAY!?!? Oh my, you need to get moving. Can you spell d o g h o u s e?

Dinner, dancing, then the jewelry. Get a limo if you can, do it first class.

We have been together for 4 years, the thing with the night out is that we have 3 kids who'll need babysitting, and sitters aren';t always available for us...

Because I work and she spends, i've only jsut had the money and time to organise something, she's pretty good like that, so she understands my reasoning to wait till the last minute..
I work in the city, so I might go for a wonder around see what shops I come across.

Still not sure on the jewelery, I'll see whats around, but basically I want something that is NOT a practical thing...ie. beauty products etc, but is more of an "I love you" gift with more meaning then use.

Actually the day spa sounds like a good idea.

cheers all
