African Clawed Frog being dyed?

I'd anyone else hear about these African clawed frogs being colored dyed?

That's interesting, because they are dyed or injected does the color stay or dull out once the frog gets older. Because its not natural i don't think i color would stay. Poor froggies.

Are they dyed or genetically engineered and bred that way like Glofish?

Yeah I believe they are modified. I would imagine the dye will wear off in time, do too growth and the water. But i could be wrong about the dye.

They are dyed like glass fish. Sad but true.
