That IS amazing!

I read somewhere that cats like to sit near a warm engine block - out of the wind and rain. Motorists can save them from a yuckky death in the radiator fan by honking the horn once or twice before starting the engine.

Cats do like to sit by warm engines. I always honk my horn to scare any cats that snuck up into the engine when I visit my dad's farm. Lucky cat that is for sure!

I had friends that lost two cats in 3 years that way....a real task to btreak it to their two kids....and a fair few bucks in engine-cleaning.

I saw that story on the news about 5 years ago... or at least a very similar story where a woman was driving home and thought she heard a cat meow.. she got out and checked and nothing.. when she got home she found a cat inside the wheel area or something.

In my younger years (lol) I worked at a job with a woman and she called me out to try and help her figure out why her car was meowing. After a little searching, we found a little black cat up under her car. It took us awhile go coax him out and then I took it home to give to a neighbor who didn't have a cat. BIG MISTAKE! It turned out to be ferral, very wild. It ended up at the pound. Poor kitty.
