I learned in my language arts classes that animals shouldnt be called "he" or "her" but it. Personally, i think that's bogus. My fish are definitely not its, and so are all yours. Who shares my opinion?

I agree! I suppose that if you aren't attached to an animal or know it's sex, you can call just say it. But as for pets I refer to them as he or she or by name.

i never call my fish(or any animals for tha6 matter) it,even if i dont know the sex i normally just guess

I always just say he even if I don't know the gender. Just habit. I never call my fish it.
