Anyone else have their Xbox 360 break RIGHT when warrenty ends???

My Xbox has broken down two times now and Ive had them fixed both times with warranty expired I believe. Call Microsoft's Support Number found somewhere inside the manual and tell them your problem, they will ask for the id number of your xbox, give it to them. They should ship you a box for you to package the 360 in, then they will ship you a new one. Atleast this is whats happened to me, I live in Canada, dont know if there is a difference. Ive bought a fan for the back and havent had problems yet.

i have a ps3 and its great in all. but i realy want a 360 . i know it has alot of problems but ive just gotten bored with my ps3 . so i think im going to sell it and my games.its a 80 gig ps3 i have a controller . games=cod 4, ghost recon 2,madden 09, star wars lego comlete collection [for my little cousin],guitar hero world tour with guitar only. if any one is intrested contact me at bryangarner07@aol.com

The dvd drive on mine went out right after the warranty. I did research and found out this happens to well over 50% of xbox 360 owners.

It would have cost 100+ bucks to fix it so instead, I bought my own drive, modded the firmware and it works perfectly! It took like 3 months to figure out, but now I can say I screwed MS with two stones. First I didn't pay them for the repair. Second, I can play burned games.

The only thing is I can't go on xbox live, but whatever it's not a big deal. Just buy a cheapo arcade version, swap the hdd and I'm golden
