Appropriate fish for a cube tank?

Hi all,

While getting my 20-long into shape, I'm already thinking of my next one. (Aren't we all? )

I have a space that would be good for a ~30-gallon cube tank. I've only kept "long" tanks, and I'm assuming the kind of a fish that need a lot of swimming room wouldn't be suited to the shape. What species would be best suited to a more square home?

I've seen some pretty nice cubes with neon tetras and livebearers (guppies, platies etc.) if that helps

Hmmm.... guppies might be a possibility. Haven't kept those in a long time.

Always nice to have those, just don't save the fry. You'll overpopulate quickly lol
