aquarium recomendations across the country

Im going to be flying to phoenix driving to california and driving back to ct. Id like to know if anyone knows of a good aquarium through basically the center of the country. or if theres something very good that isnt to far. thanks

Hmmm...The Monteray Bay Aquarium is top-notch and well worth going out of your way to visit. I live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area of Minnesota an the Mall of America has an aqurium called Under Water Adventures. By itself it is okay, but spring the extra $6 for a "behind the scenes" tor and you will get your money's worth. It is an hour long in-depth tour that covers everything from conservation, to diet, to QT, to general husbandry. They also have a very large and nationally known shark and ray breeding program.

I ended up at chicago aquarium which was great. the whale display was closed but everything else was great. Ill be posting pics and theres some in the show off now.

I definitely recommend the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. It is well worth spending some time there.
