Is who insane? The store selling it? No. The person who bought it? Yes. People will only sell things for what people will buy them for. Funny part is, most of the chalices that go for the big bucks eventually get fragged so much, they're selling for $10-20 through a lot of the cheaper sites within a few years.

I believe Cherry Corals had one that was $2500 recently, and it sold real quick. I bet a big rare chalice colony would fetch $5k or better
