No. I love my freshwater tank, I have wanted a saltwater tank for a long time and now I am getting one. Does that make me a traitor? NO, it makes me a well rounded person with multiple interests. (sort of)

I love saltwater fish. Never going to have a sw tank because of the maintenance. My FW is just fine and I can look at all the sw at the lfs or the zoo.

I have to say this, there is absolutely not much difference in maintenece for a sw tank. Now setting it up for the first time, and learning is a chore, but when you get a few months under your belt it is a breeze.

A water change every once in a while, and top off the evaporated water every couple days, that's it. I was just telling my friend that was over how easy it was.....

They stay fairly clean by themselves.

My FW planted tank is at least twice the work my SW tank is.

Im really geting tired of these which is better debates. I know this is not the full agenda of this topic but its implyed.

One is not better than the other. Each has its own benifits and drawbacks. Each can be beautiful on its own accord. In FW and SW you get out what you put in. If you dont put forth any real effort then you wont get anything great out of the tank.
