Can we start a pool? Everyone puts in x kudos at the begining of the year and picks a team. Whoever's team wins at the end of the year takes all. I'd take the bears.

So 3 of us signed up, I have no idea how this sort of thing works and I hope I don't do too poorly.

Sure we can do a kudos pool thing.

I had forgot to put up in the first post what the prize for winning would be.

Lets say

300 Kudos for first place
200 Kudos for second
100 Kudos for third
50 Kudos for fourth

The first thing to do is to go into your team and click on Edit Pre Rankings. The leauge is setup for 'auto draft'. This basicly means the players are automaticly assigned to you. We could do a live draft but that would involve everyone thats playing to be online and take turns picking players like the real draft and it probably would be a bit time consuming. To make best advantage of the auto draft you can rank the players you want to try to get. The draft system will take your highest ranked player in your rankings if they are available. After you do that then its kind of a sit and wait for the draft to be run. I will probably run the draft a week or so before the first game.

The leauge is setup in head on head mode so that means every week you will be matched up with another team. Whom ever gets the most points that week wins the matchup. The top 8 teams at week 15 playoffs will start. So for weeks 15-17 those top 8 teams with the best record will be in the playoffs. Just like the real thing this is single elemination.

At a minimum we should have 8 teams and its best if we have an even number of players.

I wanna play, too. Problem is this computer is at work and I can't spend more than a few minutes at a time online, else I risk certain death at the hands of my blood thirsty boss!

I will try to get to my library and sign up at Yahoo and all that. Don't shoot me if I don't however. I was thinking of just betting Kudos each week on specific games. This will be cool, though!

Ok I set up a team. Zic's picks it's called. Now what? I mean, my team looks like it's all running backs. I've never done this before (I also have never been to Yahoo.com before, if that tells you anything about my computer prowess, or lack thereof )

What happens if one of my players gets injured? Will it give me someone to replace them, or will I just not get any points for that player the rest of the season?
