Most of my good deals come from the forums I'm a part of. I've been given free fish, plants, etc multiple times without even having to pay shipping (which I always pay for anyways)

But my best deal involving a tank would be on Craigslist; I got my 28 bowfront with t-8 lighting for $20. Was pretty proud of myself for that one

That is simultaneously hilarious and embarrassing... I graduated from that to sand last summer...

I got a complete 29 gal. with stand for free. Came with two fish. They are another story.

I see a lot of deals on real large tanks but the man power to move them I don`t have.

I'm drooling over a 75 Gallon with cabinet ,pump all rocks and coral filled with African Ciichlid for $250.
Want it, but just got a bill from the government that is going to eat that money and a little bit more.
