Very very late on Monday night when I got home from a rather disastrous trip to Texas (spent lots of time lost, was involved in a hit and run accident, and did most of the drive home in driving rain and all of it with a bent axle) and flipped on the light in the kitchen I was greeted by a wonderful surprise. My marbled crayfish who had been berried when I left had dropped her babies! I looked into the tank and was momentarily confused by all the little tiny things wiggling around on the sand, then realized they were tiny adorable baby crayfish! It definitely added some happiness to the miserable day I had. I will try to get some pictures when I can wipe the front glass without worrying I might squish some.
