for me, it was 20 feet of vinyl tube, 18 feet of pvc, a garbage can, and two magdrive pumps. Put it all together and I can now pump water out and back in with the flip of a switch. This edged out a 50 ft python for top honors.

My best purchase was my 30 gal. That's the only big purchase I made :|

For me, it was the tank itself. 8O A picture can be seen in my photo album here. Work still in progress... Working on the plumbing system presently. Slow... Slow... Slow.... Patience.... Patience... Patience.... Sigh....
