Thickness of the plywood depends on the size of the tank. There are plenty of plans out there for tanks ranging from 300 to a couple thousand gallons. It seems you have to go bigger than 350ish gallons to make it worthwhile.

To seal the tank a lot of folks have been using Rubberize It. https://www.rubberizeit.com/

I have seen some that used pond liner not sure what would be easyer. I'm a big DIY person maybe someday ill try it. I have this dead spot in my house that a big tank would fit nicely in. Like 6'x6'x5'

180 gallon fowlr tank. It isn't the biggest but it's big enough ..... For now

I did the calculations on this and it would be roughly a 1481 gallon tank(no I did not mistype that) that would be awesome..... Best tank ever!!! Except the fact of those weekly 50% water changes!!!!!!
