Broken filter

Hi my friends filter has just broken in his tropical tank, will it be ok for 24hrs until he can replace it thanks

IMO your gonna want some type of surface agitation. In theory yes the fish "should" all be fine. I would watch for signs of oxygen depletion. Fish gasping at the surface, looking lethargic things like that. Does your friend have a air stone?

Also what size tank and what's the stock?

Yes there's air being pumped around he has about 15 fish in 120 lire tank and thanks
