Hi there hope someone could help me.Let me start by saying last week my nitrates were 80 ppm.Got some advice to do water changes weekly instead of bi-weekly as I was doing previously.Got my nitrates down some but my problem is that my water is cloudy now.Its a 50 gallon tank used a cap full of seachem prime.I have a 35 gallon tank upstairs and did wc today right after the other tank used half capful of prime and it's crystal clear.I changed about 30% when doing each water change.Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Cloudy Tank Water

Hello Ck...

Large water changes will help. Half the tank's volume isn't too much, but work up to that point, by changing a little more every week. Acurel has a good cut to fit poly fiber padding, that's designed to attract and hold the floating particles that makes the water look hazy. The ammonia version is the most effective.
