Coming up to a year in hobby

So at the end of september its been a year since me n the wife got our first 10 gallon and now we have 4 tanks 2 tens a 35 and a 90... got hooked you could say

So how many tanks are you folks up to and how many years in the hobby?

I'm at 2 1/2 years, should be 3 1/2 but I don't count the first year as I wasn't really into the aquarium hobby until my second year

Oh boy a lot has happened in 1 year. I started sometime last September as well. Since then I had as many as 8 tanks going.

Right now I own 4.5 tanks and my brother has the other 3.

Why the 0.5? It's a Fire belly Toad tank now.. Semi aquatic do that counts for something?

Been fishing keeping on and off for over 20 years.

Had around 7 or 8 tanks in total during that time period. Which isn't much for over 20 years.

Currently I have just 1 tank running and another packed up.

I seem to care more about tanks looking high end and modern, than actually putting fish in them.

Started with bettas in high school but got my first 'real' aquarium in 2003. That quickly turned into 15 tanks:

We were renters and unfortunately our landlord wasn't making house payments so we were forced to move. I gave up all the tanks at that time

Got back into the hobby a few years ago. This house doesn't have the space for 15 but I'm currently running 7. You can see pictures, stock, etc in my tank thread.

I've had tanks off and on since the 70s. FW tropical, cold water, native, planted, ornamental and koi ponds.
I currently have two 20g longs: high tech planted and low tech shrimp tank.

6 currently, 15 long (community), 10 gallon (african dwarf frog), 10 gallon (red claw crabs), 10 gallon (electric blue crayfish), 29 gallon (Fowlr tank), and 40 breeder south american cichlid tank within almost a year coming tomorrow but the 15 long and the african dwarf frog tank is my girlfriends tank that we both own.

Im 4 1/2 years in and have managed to keep my tank count at 1. I may be getting my old ten gallon up and running for some nano fish or maybe a new pair of apistos soon but I've managed to hold off.

Penguin thats alot of tanks but they all sound rlly cool

And i agree with bigredsreefs10 dallascowboys16 it seems you are slacking in the tank department.... or everyone else is just fish crazy ?
