bah... I hate the media. They say just enough to cause a rucus and scare everyone without telling us whats really important.
"water temperatures... rose just a few degrees" exactly how many?
"Weather satellites monitoring the area for 20 years registered a temperature peak last year" ok, what was the mean temperature, and what was the peak?
in our aquariums the temperatures change "a few degrees" all the time, this isn't all it takes to bleach an entire reef.[/rant]
sorry.. i'm not trying to down play the seriousness of protecting our natural reefs. I just deplore the use of buzz words "for effect" and I, in general, hate the media.
