Yeah the rainbows range for $10 to $16 in my area so I did make out and I got to make a trip to a huge LFS while I was in the area. And they were having a sale!

Craigslist Good Finds

So it was not on craigslist, but it would have ended up there. My friend has a 75 gallon FOWLR setup with a yelling tang, clown fish, a currently unidentified fish and a shrimp. She picked it up for $250. Now her floor is collapsing so I am getting it for $300! GOAL!!! It has an odyssea quad t5 lamp. Unsure of what filters atm. A large looking powerhead. And stand. I am going to brace my floor this weekend and go pick it up the next weekend

Wow nice. That's a good deal since it's saltwater right?

I don't know saltwater at all, that's why I asked. For fw that is most likely a lot, depending on the stock included.

Well the light is in the $100-$200 range I believe. And the rock would be $200 at $1/lb. so there is the $300. Then I get the tank, stand, filters, stock, and supplies.

So, you are saying you have 200lbs of rock in a 75? I think not!

Man... you guys are tough.. there's no denying op paid a mere fraction of what all that would cost new.. if it's all in good/clean working order than it looks like a solid deal.. main point?! Happy fish nerd

Everyone is open to their own opinion. While I didn't steal it and run away naked with a huge smile on my face.......I think it warrants a "good find". I'm happy either way.
She is making 50 because she has put money in already and I dont mind the price.
There is supposed to be another stand with it so hopefully it is the correct size, if not I shall build one.
And lastly hopefully it comes with extra goodies i am unaware of. She is not an experienced aquarist so I'm hoping she has something that she doesn't realize she has...we will see
