Dehumidifier Water?

I was wondering about something. I have a Dehumidifier that is running in the basement. I have to empty this almost every darn day there is so much moister down here.

Could I use this water that it collects? I don't know about how pure the water is, or if it's pure because it's been pulled from the room. Could this be used for aquarium use? Thoughts???

If it's a clean dehumidifier, it's just collected water vapor. However, since I can't say what else was in your basement air like pollen, spores, gases, fumes and such, you probably do not want to put it in the tank.
