We put Baxter on Taste of the wild food at 13 months when we got him and learned of his allergies.. It's so awesome!!! The neighbors have a Sobieski with a horrible skin condition and is now on this and it's all clear!! He had been on other grain free but this is the only one that did the trick! It's great it's for all stages as I have a 6 month old border collie/ pit mix and a 2.5 yr old pointer mix. We also have our cats on it (2 yrs -14 yrs) the 2 older cats are like young cats again!!! It's well worth the $$. Less shedding, less feeding and less poop!!! Among everything else...

Water, in the form of steam, is used in the cooking process for dry pet food. Taste of the Wild uses a water purification process known as reverse osmosis, which is the same process that many bottled water manufacturers use. In reverse osmosis, water is forced through extremely fine filters, removing microorganisms, organic chemicals, and inorganic chemicals. The end result is purified water, which is then used in the form of steam in the cooking process for Taste of the Wild dry pet food.
