External cannister filters

I'm looking to get a fluval fx-5 cannister filter but which do you think is the best?

How large is your tank? IMO if it's a 40g - 75g ... you could do a Fluval 405 / 406 and should do the job easily. From 75g and up I'd look at the FX-5 if I were
starting a new tank. The FX-5 I've heard is a great filter.

It's a 143g so I guess that answers my question and the reviews on the fx-5 are all excellent.
