So one of my female Bettas, Mona Lisa, just did the cutest thing I've ever seen a fish do, and it's the first time one of mine has made me literally laugh out loud. I fed her a few pellets and as she grabbed one she disturbed another and caused it to sink, but it landed right on top of her head. She looked around for a good 10 seconds trying to find more pellets while it was balanced on her head the entire time. The pellet then fell and landed on this round polished rock I have in her tank and sort of slid down the side and she chased it down the side of the rock and nabbed it before it hit the gravel. I wish I could train her to balance things on her head. Too cute.
Female Betta just did the cutest thing.
