Recently, I ventured to my LFS, and I was horribly disappointed...again. The fish selection was terrible, there was one aquatic plant for sale, and their prices were high. I looked into one of their tanks with shrimp in it, and half of them were dead. This is a pet store with many other animals (cats, dogs, hamsters, etc...). I know that there are many fish forums, and the hobby is getting more excitement from TV shows and what not, but I've been noticing that in many pet stores, the fish are not thought of as much as other pets. Can any of you relate to this?

I honestly think here isn't too bad. The occasional tank looks bad and prices are always too high but the fish are alright. Hardware like lights we are a bit short on.
