I painted these awhile ago when I was teaching myself watercolor, but I really like them. Does anybody else have some cool fish art? We all share photos, but I have other things too! I also have some jewelry I made that I can up pictues of too.

I really like them! I don't have any fishy art to share but I might have some other paintings in my cupboard I did before the kids where born. I'd like to see your jewelry too!

I drew the first two and colored the second two out of a coloring book

@Aces, good job. Are those your fish?

@Mumma, I will get some shots later. :) I have actually considered seeing if anybody wanted to trade fish for jewelry, but I have to re-read the rules in the classifieds to see if that is ok or not. :)

Thanks :) the first one is my old betta who I had like 5 or 6 years ago. The second is my goldfish that I still have.

Thanks. Here is another one I have. Its actually of men fishing, but I think its close enough. :) Again, this one is not amazing because I did it while I was teaching myself something. The whole thing is done with 1 color and masking fluid (which I had never used before). I am thinking about doing a few more in the pond fish series now that I can watercolor better. But hey, everybody has to learn somehow! I went to a small, private school, so I taught myself. :)

Here are 2 pairs of earring I made with koi charms. The pair I am wearing is mine and I am selling the others sometime. :)

These are all great! Watercolors are my favorite. And the jewelry is very cute!

Here are some of my fish inspired paintings (and a print) from a few years back. (The first painting is supposed to be the fish reflected around the corner of the tank - I probably don't have to explain that here, you guys get it. My professors did not have aquariums and thought it was slightly more creepy than intended.)

I'd love to see more people's art!

Wow they are great! I love the second one!

I just started up using water color paints after a long hiatus. The first picture, the betta, only took me about half an hour. I was just playing around with my water-color pencils.

The second picture I used actual water color and it took me probably 20 hours or so by the time I sketched it out, used the masking fluid, and then did the various layers. I'm still not quite done with it... I need to add some texture to the rocks in the background, add darker tones, and I need to rework the fish tails. But here we are...

By the way, squidsquiggle, I absolutely love those pics! Particularly the sea horses and the reflection one.

Those are both great Talvari, I particularly like the bottom one. :) I have never used the watercolor pencils before. How do you like them?

Thanks everyone for the kind comments! Those are very nice, Talvari. I love all the little delicate speckles on the bottom fish.
