Whenever I want to know something I usually look it up online, but my eyeballs are melting from staring at a screen for hours. So, this is my question. What are some good books, magazines, or I guess even digital app even that technically is still a screen?

What type of fish are you interested in?

Here's my two magazine subscriptions,

Freshwater, Saltwater, Reefs, Aquatic Plants, Aquariums, Fish | Tropical Fish Hobbyist Magazine

I'm mainly interested in cichlids so any book by Dr.Axelrod is a must, so with a little more background I'm sure we can help.

I'm mainly interested in freshwater aquariums. specifically tropical fish so I figured the tropical fish hobbyist would probably be a good mag for me. I already have amazonas free app.

Any advice for us SW reef hobbiest?

Honestly I have a better chance to recommend a good cook book over a saltwater book, sorry the only thing I use salt is for french fries.

Amazon and Ebay will have tons of used books for pennies. Both SW and FW. Reef and planted, etc.

Most of the stuff published by TFH books will be good to use as a reference.

And of course the Baensch Aquarium Atlas and Marine Atlas line of books are invaluable if you can afford them.
