This is my current State Record & PB Carp. I fish for Carp, Buffalo the most these days but still love to put A few LMB & crappie on the stringer every once in awhile.
This is hands down the most expensive carp in the world & a 2 time state record setting fish. 43lb.12oz

This is my PB buffalo & I'd say my favorite catch to date. This pig almost spooled my reel @ 300 yards and took 35 mins to land.
58lb 10oz

Great catches!!!! but one question? How is it a 2 time record breaker? Did you catch the same fish twice? And what do you use for bait to catch a hog like that?

The 1st time she was landed was at a carp tournament in 05 & she weighed in @ 43lb 1oz. The people that put on the tournament had taken out a ins policy to pay out $250k to whomever set record weekend. Fast forward to 09 when I caught and landed her, I didn't get $250k but I came out real nice. I use a few different baits but mainly I fish with flavored maize. I have a ton of secrets I use even down to my gear.

Awesome carp, I am wanting to get into some with my spinning rod or fly rod.

I enjoy fishing the rivers, lakes, tailwaters, and mountain streams here for large mouth, smallies, catfish, rainbows, and brookies
