Well, since my family decided to go to the zoo today I figured I gotta post some pics of their aquarium! They've got lots of awesome fish and huge ones too! While it's mostly freshwater there are some sweet salt water tanks too! Can't wait to get there and show off why people say everything's bigger in Texas!

this is why we call them tank busters.... the tank with a large Jardini Arowana had lots of large Iranian Rainbows

this one tank had tons of cichlids who's name I don't know
this was the cichlids' rowdy roommate
these Archer Fish were huge!!
they also had a few medium sized Kissing Gourami in there too
the Archer tank also had some hidden Clown Loaches

Thanks for posting these. People don't always realize how large many of the so called home aquarium tank species get. And those tanks are huge.

Those are some beautiful fish. Nice to see large species in large tanks. My lfs has a 200 gallon planted rainbow fish tank. I'll post a picture from the face book page if I find it.

Im inclined to say thats some kind of praecox rainbow fish but I'm not sure. Im from the dallas/fortworth area and haven't been back in years! If I ever do visit ill have to go there!
