Good idea or not?

Today, i realized i had an unused tank. So, i decided to start a crayfish tank. But, they don't sale crayfish where i live. So, i went to the creek behind my house and caught one. It is doing fine, but is this a good idea or not?

Crayfish are a great idea. Check out The Essential Guide to Keeping Crayfish as Pets : Crayfish to learn how to care for them. Or check out the invertebrate section on this board as well.

I have never owned one but I don't see why you can't keep it. I've known people to catch regular lake fish and keep them in fish tanks before.
