Got a cat NOW WITH PICS!!!

I got home from work Friday and walked in the door and was followed by the skinniest cat I have ever seen in my life. I tried for a while to get him out of the house but he wasn't leaving without a fight. So not being a cat person and not wanting to be bitten, put some holes in a cardboard box and placed a can of Tuna inside. He stayed in the corner behind a plant for a few minutes , then went to eat . I snuck up to the box (which took a few tries) flipped it up and quickly closed it. At that point I was really getting to like his spunk so it was off to the vet. The cat has an eye infection, but besides that is just underweight. So I guess now I'm a cat person and I will post updates as he progresses and pics when I get a new camera.

I love it when a cat picks it's owner, my cat, Spud, picked me when I went to see her and her 2 brothers & sister, and she was the only one that came up to me of her own accord, so she was the one for me, but she can be an evil little sod (my hands prove that!!!), but she's also a big softy at the same time!!!

I did have a cat move in of his own accord aswell, and he was a cutie too, but his behavior when it came to feeding meant I couldn't keep him (he was bullying my other two cats (Spud and her missing sister Rambo (not my naming!!!) out of their food), so I gave him to my mum, but she let him out the next day and he dissapeared, but I think he lives a cushy life at a pub nearby as I heard they had a cat with a red collar (which I got him!!!) move in!!!

Also, as I mentioned, I had another cat Rambo, who was Spud's sister of the same litter, but unfortunately, she escaped my house and dissapeared and I haven't seen her since, and I'm hopeing she lives somewhere nice...

Yay for taking the skinny guy in. I am a cat person, but if it were...say...a chimp that had followed me in, or an orangutan, I woulda tried to shoo it out the door too.

Glad you saved him and that he's healthy (other than the fixable eye problem and skinny-ness! Nice work--

He's pretty cool kinda acts like a dog he won't use a litter box and sits in front of the door and meows when he has to go, then does the same to get back in. That's on top of following me everywhere and begging for food. I named him Smokey. He is now living like a King as all of my animals do, and a couple more trips to the pond and he may be up to a very healthy weight if he keeps eating the frogs.

He is a real hunter all right I'm just not looking forward to the little presents cats are said to bring for their owners. I'll be sure to check out that link tomorrow after work.
