Wow I didn't think you would get it that quickly! Does anyone keep these in aquariums? Mine did really good in my native tank but I've never seen it sold in a store

Sorry, I usually sit back and let others have a turn ... but I was bored with what I was doing at work! I'll let you post again floridafishman, as I probably won't get a chance to do anything for a while. Glad you are keeping them. It looks like a nice fish, though probably not a good one to keep with smaller species. I'm thinking of trying some my local small serranids ... such as Hypoplectrodes maccullochi ... which I'm guessing would be fairly similar to keep to your local S. subligarius. Hypoplectrodes

Since nobody's posted in a long time I thought I might get this started again.

This one is fairly common but is underrated in my opinion:
