No, sorry Gillie. My specialty is in Indo-Pacific shallow marine and Oz freshwater fishes, so I'm not really all that up on South American cichlids.

That's it, Gillie! It reminds me of the scavenger demons from the 2005 movie Constantine. Not so much the lack of eyes but rather the pronounced dorsal hump gives it the "brainless" appearance. Yes, the flesh tone color makes it look frying pan ready. Also known as the Blind Golden-Line Barbel, this fish is found in caves in China.
