The so called experts used to say 100. But really they live about 60-80 yrs depending on the care and diet. She has been with me since she was an egg.
The problem is that she will always be a baby.

Cool, so you helped to hatch her? How did that work? Did you incubate or something like that? I have no idea what the process is.

Yes I incubated a clutch breeder. I hatched them and handfed them. The breeder gave me Czara as payment. At that time handfed Military MaCaws cost ~$1,500. Today they run ~$750-$850 if it's a good year.
It was a great experience.
