Saw that. I guess its a wonder he lived as long as he did...I cant imagine why he would take his own life.

You'd have to think Hunter Thompson was a darkhorse favorite on someone's Death Pool. It's not too much of a stretch. I liked "Fear and Loathing...

Man, that sucks, I really liked his stuff.

He was totally nuts though, my best friend grew up in the area and the stories about meeting him and his antics are just unbelievable. I'm not really surprised at how he died but actually more surprised he lasted this long.

Personally, I find the whole suicide thing a bit suspect here....but, if Thompson were to commit suicide, a handgun would be his obvious instrument of choice.
