Is this how mice say thank you?

This is waay off-topic, but I have 12 pet mice, 2 boys and 10 girls. I just finished replacing the water, bedding, food, and toys (toilet paper roll and 1/2 egg carton) in my girls' cage. As I was finishing up, two of the girls climbed up my arm to my shoulder, stuck their snouts in my ear, and made some strange chortling sounds! It felt very wierd and must have looked hilarious. I wish someone were here to take a picture!

lol...that is strange and funny. Must be some kind of "secret" mouse language/communication.

Aquariums are like jello - there's always room for more.

Hey Andy...it's possible that the message they wanted to give you was one of sincere affection. Either that or you've been selected as a mate.

That's true, but they did leave a couple of raisins on my shoulder as a token of their appreciation!

[acronym:b2755d9984="By the way"]BTW[/acronym:b2755d9984], Menagerie, how are the gerbils? Teach them to play cage hockey yet?

I've never been a big rodent fan, but you make your mice sound like fun pets! Not to mention the funny pics from time to time! I'm glad your pets are happy.

The gerbs are good. No cage hockey due to the lock out
