How scary is this?

I would need new underwear if this happened to me. This is video from a Denver, CO news station. A platform that two window washers were using broke loose...

I heard about this on the news this morning. 12 stories up and in a wind storm they said. Only minor injuies suffered by one of the individuals. No one on the ground hurt from falling glass.

My question would be to the company! Who sends out glass cleaners to go 12 stories up in a WIND STORM!!!! I wonder if they make Hazardous pay for days like that?

I heard that the wind wasn't there when they started. But I also know a guy who does this work. He said if the conditions are right for wind, even if it's predicted for later in the day, they don't go up. The video is proof enough of why.

Unfortunately, here in NYC...this is an all too common occurrence. Most don't end in the fashion mentioned.

I agree with you deli! Of course I would've held on and kept my eyes shut the whole time. Too scary to imagine actually going through that! 8O
