I don't think he's a sissy. I think he's kind. Not many people feel even a shred of guilt when slaughtering pigs.

Agreed. I know he's not a SISSY, I even said I was just kidding. And I agree, its nice that he gave the pigs a great life. But still, I gotta say say that I will eat meat for the rest of my life, or for as long as I can afford to buy it. At which point I'll rely on what I hunt and fish for myself.

I'm a west coast city girl, and my mom grew up on a farm. I wish I could raise my own food if only to understand the respect it must take to slaughter your own meat. My mom remembers enjoying a rooster meal that was a pleasure because that rooster was a mean mean bird.

But I think she suffered when it was a closer friend on the table. In France her dad forced her to politely eat HORSE that was served by their hosts. She hated that memory!!
