I got a new car!! - Aquarium Advice

Now, this might not seem like a terribly huge thing to some people.. so a little background first.
The car that I have been driving for the last 4 years is an 89 brown Cutlass. For the last 3 years or so, I have been unable to drive my car more than a few miles before It stalls out. The torque converter is broken, I learned not too long ago. So I am completely dependent on someone to take me places. I mean, I can get to the store and school.. but even then, if I drive in the car too long it will stalll the first chance it gets. So after failing the Inspection on Monday, my dad decided to buy this car he had been looking at for me.
It is a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire Convertible. It has only 79,000 miles on it, one previous owner, an alarm system and a 12 disk CD changer. So i went from a POS brown car that can only go 3 miles.. to a gorgeous car. I am so very happy. I finally have my independence back!

Congrats! That's a fine looking automobile. Was the previous owner a "little old lady from Pasadena"?

Excellent! Is it a 4 cyl engine?
Just make sure you keep up on the oil changes and most importantly, Keep the antifreeze FULL! When those cars overheat, they tend to blow head gaskets. I am not trying to scare ya or say it's a bad car, they are nice cars, but some cars have there qwerks, and you don't want THIS ONE to overheat.

I am glad you have a good car now. I can't be left without a car, and I am fortunate enough to be able to fix them.

Thanks! I am definalty going to keep up with all of the fluids... and my since my dad works in the air conditioning field, he always has antifreeze on hand

I am totally driving out of the city tomorrow in it! It will be the first time in almost a year that I have driven a car out of Denton

Cute car!! My sister bought a Pontiac Sunfire around the same age as yours 3 years ago. It gave her nothing but headaches
