I have floor space!!!!

Nothing like having parents come and visit to get you into "cleaning mode." I moved into my apartment around August 12 and since then I haven't had/made the time to truely move in and my room has been a complete mess. Finally, my mom is coming up to visit for our home football game (go appalachian!!) and I realized she couldn't see my apartment the way it was. My roomie's parents are also coming up so we've both been cleaning like crazy. So, are you guys the same way? I've heard things can never be clean enough for moms. Ok, time to go hang with friends, we're having a PJs party!!

I just cleaned the lab I do research in. Usually I go into cleaning mode when I am avoiding serious academic work.

My mom is coming to visit tonight!

I got home from uni this afternoon at 2pm, and have been cleaning my house nonstop since, it is now after 8 3/4 of that time was doing dishes alone (the dishwasher was running at the same time, almost every single dish me and my roomate own was dirty ).

My boyfriends sister hasn't seen our house yet (er, at the time) so she was going to be in Denton and planned to stop by. So I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. They came over and I dunno... his sister is REALLY sweet but kinda self absorbed, so I felt like I cleaned for nothing. Frustrating. But, our house was spotless for a few days =o)

I rarely, if ever clean.

Only when the pile beneath the bed begins to generate its own heart beat do I decide to clean.

I'm laughing hard rubysoho . If cleaning house were an olympic sport my mom would be a medalist. Imagine this. Everyone that comes to her place must take their shoes off before they enter. She'll wear out a vacuum cleaner before her clothes go out of style. [acronym:762dfb1377="Laughing out loud"]LOL[/acronym:762dfb1377]

wow BrianNY, thats funny. Menagerie, I'd rather do homework than clean!! Of course, most of my mess is clothing on the floor and I absolutly HATE folding after I worked for a while in clothing retail... folding is the devil I'm glad to see I'm not the only messy person who needs some real motivation (mom, hehe) to get cleaning. Now hopefully I'll pass the inspection!!!
